Newcastle Anglican is seeking an experienced Chef to work in our catering production kitchen located in Boolaroo NSW. These role is in a casual capacity.
Production Kitchen Mon â Thu 6:00am â 4:30pm
Lead by the Hospitality Services Manager, the Chef will be responsible for delivering consistent, well prepared meals. In this fast paced environment, you must be able to multi-task while ensuring the food safety program and procedures are adhered to, maintain quality standards of all work performed and be part of a positive working environment.

Role & Responsibilities: â¯
- Providing support to all kitchen staff in cooking, food safety and cleaning duties
⢠Recognise and communicate problems effectively
⢠Handling multiple tasks and manage resources to meet competing deadlines and priorities
⢠Excellent communication and customer service skills including internal and external customers
⢠Effective written and verbal communication skills - Requirements to travel across multiple services - Newcastle, Lake Macquarie & Central Coast
About you?
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (SIT30813)
- Proven working experience as a Chef in a large scale kitchen environment
- Demonstrated commercial cookery experience, including ordering and stock control
- Ability to work as part of a flexible, multi-skilled team and individually
