We're currently seeking experienced Larder Chefs to fill a number of casual positions in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for cooking, strictly adhere to all food safety and hygiene processes and be able to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
As Larder Chef your duties will include:
- Preparing fresh fruit, vegetables and meats
- Preparing salads
- Following instructions from the chef
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen
- Assist with stock control
- Adhering to regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures related to food service
Requirements
- Must have own knife set
- Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
- OR Minimum 2 years professional experience as a cook/Larder Chef
- Impeccable presentation and grooming standards
- National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
