Having undergone renovations recently, the Bistro is modern with a large kitchen and state of the art equipment. The Role:As a Chef / Cook, your daily responsibilities will include:Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues
Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner
Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
Assisting with menu changes when required
Successful Candidate:To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:Previous experience within a fast paced commercial kitchen
Availability to work any hospitality hours
Ability to work well under a high pressure environment
Brilliant communication skills to all team members
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery preferred but not essential
Benefits:The successful candidate will be provided with the following:Full time salary between $65,000 - $70,600 Superannuation depending on experience or Full-time on an hourly rate
