We are a family operated business. We operate two Business under one roof. The chicken shop takeaway and the pizzeria & Pasta takeaway. Chicken shop does BBQ chicken, seafood, burgers, yiros on the spit, freshly made salads and snacks. Pizzeria does pizzas and freshly made pastas. We have a large kitchen at the back which prepares food all day long for both shops. We also make deserts on the premises which are extreme popular. This business has been here for over 55 years, and we are the fourth owners taking this business to new level. As the proud fourth owner of our family business, we have embarked on a journey defined by dedication perseverance and a deep commitment to our legacy. Over the past 5 years we have poured our heart and souls into nurturing and growing our enterprise, overcoming challengers with unwavering resolve. Our achievements stand as a testament to enduring spirit of family unit.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience isn’t necessary but we are looking for long term staff and training can be provided to enthusiastic and reliable applicant.
Tasks & responsibilities
- CUSTOMER SERVICE Greeting and Taking orders from customers. Show, attention to detail, patience, and being knowledgeable about our product. Ensuring the customer has everything they have purchased on the order. Usually, two staff work the front counter.
- DEEP FRYING A very important task of cooking food to perfection. This is a very busy station, showing that you are in control of orders and the ability to communicate with other staff. Usually, two people work on this station.
- THE GRILL Alot of talent is needed to run this busy station. The main food cooked on here is burgers, hotdogs and yiros. In the busy period someone usually assists.
- MORNING PREPERATION Our large kitchen meticulously prepares food for both shops. This consists of preparing salads and snacks for the displays. Other products prepared are chickens, schnitzels, yiros meat being marinated, hamburger patties and much more.
- PIZZERIA & PASTA this involves from rolling bases, making pizzas, and panfried cooking pastas.
- DESERTS all our deserts are made in house.
