Location: 118 High Street, Central Dunedin
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent waged role. Monday to Sunday.
Shifts: Roster is over 7-days, mostly evening shifts and will be required to work other shifts/hours when required.
Hours of work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week. Rotating roster that will include weekends.

What You'll Do and Your Responsibilities:
- Preparation, cooking and serving of food for service.
- Preparation, cooking and serving of staff meals.
- Ensure all food is served and stored at the correct temperatures and meets Hotel standards, menu specifications and Kitchen guidelines.
- Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.
- Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
- Follow all sanitation and hygienic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.
- Assisting with any other kitchen duties as required by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role (Desired)
- A certificate at NZQF Level 4, or higher qualification, in Cookery or equivalent qualification (Desired),
- Food Handling Certificate
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing)
