We are seeking a Chef de Partie at Bar Alto located in the Brisbane Powerhouse on the banks of the Brisbane River.
Applicants must possess cooking and leadership skills and be ready to work with an experienced and dynamic team who are all dedicated industry professionals. Previous experience in a quality-focused Italian kitchen is ideal. Applicant must hold a AQF IV in Commercial Cookery / Kitchen Management or equivalent PLUS 3 years full time experience post qualification.
If you have the desire to learn more about Italian cuisine including pasta preparation, butchery and meat curing and general regional Italian food this position is ideal.
The position requires someone who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen, communicate well with other team members, be passionate and thrives on working in a positive team environment.
