Qualifications & experience
- Cert III (or higher) in Commercial Cookery
- Time management
- Leadership skills
- TAFE Workplace Hygiene or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or equivalent
Tasks & responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards.
- collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Running a section in our a la carte kitchen and function kitchen
- Receiving, storing and rotating ingredients
- Overseeing junior chefs
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar role, busy and fast paced environment
- Solid understanding of Food Safety, OH&S standards and compliance
