Lello's Pasta Bar is a family owned and operated Italian restaurant that specialises in homemade pasta using organic flour and organic free range pastured eggs (gluten free available). The menu changes according to the season’s best available local produce.
Located in the small unspoilt coastal village of Brunswick Heads Park Street, Lello's Pasta Bar is the place where good food & family come together to create memories and have a great time.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team and be a driving force behind our exciting restaurant.
About the role
As a Chef de Partie you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including:
- Maintain and uplift of quality and service standards.
- Craft exceptional dishes that spotlight local seasonal produce.
- Contribute to menu development and culinary innovation.
- Monitor daily Food Safety checklists and ensure strict adherence to all OH&S policies.
- Complete stock management of all goods including ordering, rotation, and amendments.
- Complete staff rostering, manage development & hiring and ensure the team delivers outstanding service to customers.
- Foster a positive and productive kitchen environment.
About you
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a fast paced, high-volume venue a must.
- Cook and prepare dishes as per company specifications.
- Maintain food and hygiene standards.
- Being able to follow recipes and specs to a company standard.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary expectation: $70,000 - $80,000
