Bistro Sociale is a renowned European Restaurant located at Berida Hotel in the heart of the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, located only 90mins from Sydney and accessible by public transport.
We are looking for a self-motivated and creative Chef de Partie who is looking to grow professionally in a supportive and dynamic team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assisting the Executive Chef in leading and inspiring our team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Maintain and run a section using innovative and seasonal menus that showcase your creativity.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Deliver all food experiences for the property including: restaurant dining; functions, weddings, events and experiential dining opportunities.
- Ensure strict food safety standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established and monitored.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef or Chef de Partie.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a reputable culinary institution.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for staying current with industry trends and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:
- Generous remuneration package of $65,000.00-$75,000.00 depending on experience p/a plus super, tips and regular salary reviews.
