Running With Thieves brewery and distillery are on the lookout for a Full Time Chef de Partie to join our growing business.  We work hard, support each other, and have fun along the way, come join the ride and ‘Run with Us’.

Running With Thieves is the largest operational independent brewery and distillery in Western Australia and produces a range of craft beers, in addition to premium spirits and crafted cocktails. 

Located on iconic South Beach, the brewery includes a bar, restaurant with an open kitchen, and retail outlet that reflects the modern, relaxed sophistication of South Fremantle. 

All of our products are made by hand and packaged on-site.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in the planning of menus
• Effectively leading, training, and mentoring your team
• Plan, organise, and control day-to-day operations of the kitchen for optimum functioning
• Ensure the quality control and portion consistency of food served are maintained in line with business volumes
• Monitor stock levels and place orders accordingly
• Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation of kitchen and equipment are always maintained

Skills and experience

• Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery
• Previous experience working in a similar role
• A sound knowledge of a broad range of food preparation and cooking equipment
• Demonstrated culinary talent and genuine passion for the industry
• Care and pride for creating and delivering consistent, high-quality produce
• Flexibility and availability to work across a rotating roster
