We are currently seeking multiple Chef De Parties to work within our Banqueting department and Main kitchen looking after our Hill Street bar and In Room Dining. You will also oversee the development of all commis chef and assist the senior chefs with supervisor and coaching of all apprentices.
Key Responsibilities;
- Ensure that foods are prepared, cooked and presented according to the menu, recipe and according to the Hotel Safe Food & Hygiene Standards
- Take responsibility for a high standard of cleanliness of the food preparation and storage areas.
- Assist with the regular review and modification of standards and procedures within the outlets.
- Maintain awareness of all culinary promotions, events and activities at all times, communicating this information, when appropriate, to other Employees, customers and visitors as requested.
- An understanding of HACCP or similar FSMS
Skills & Experience
- 12 months experience in a similar role or 2 years as a commis Chef
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
