We are currently seeking a Chef de Partie- Banquets to join our kitchen team on a Full Time basis including:

About the Role …
Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef - Banquets, you will be responsible for maximising guest satisfaction by providing the highest quality and consistency in the dishes produced and contributing to the overall success of the Banquets Kitchen, in accordance with established standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare, create and present all dishes for client events
Ensure all dishes from the section are prepared consistently and according to standard
Impart knowledge and train chefs and apprentices, encouraging high standards at all times
Maximise and maintain efficiency, ensuring budgetary requirements for labour and operational expenses are met
Maintain food safety program and systems
Lead and organise kitchen operations with the Executive Chef, in the absence of the Executive Sous Chef - Banquets
Assist in maximising team member morale and productivity
About you…
To be successful in this role, you will have passion and enthusiasm for the industry and be prepared to push the boundaries with flare and innovation in your menu design.
You will also have:
Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery
Comprehensive understanding of food trends
A solid history of working in a similar position, within a fast-paced, bulk production environment, preferably within a 4-5 star Hotel or Resort
A thorough knowledge of Food Safety and other workplace health and safety practices
Ability to work in all areas of the kitchen
Strong knowledge of cost control
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays, as required.
