About the Role
As the Chef Manager, you will supervise a team of Food Service Assistants to provide fresh, high-quality meals for residents including catering for residents with special dietary requirements. You will ensure that the kitchen is clean, safe food handling practices are followed and all meals are nutritious and well presented.
We are currently seeking an experienced Chef Manager to work full time hours Monday to Friday.
Essential Requirements
- Experience as a Chef Manager in aged care
- Knowledge and understanding of WH&S and food safety legislation
- HLTFSE001 'Follow basic food safety practices'
- HLTFSE005 'Apply and monitor food safety requirements'
- HLTFSE007 'Oversee the day to day implementation of food safety in the workplace'
- Current police check (or willing to obtain)
- Vaccination certificate
- Communication skills
- Leadership skills
