We're seeking a vibrant and friendly chef to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring that children visiting our play centre have access to wholesome and appealing food options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare age-appropriate, balanced meals, snacks, and beverages
• Welcome guests with a smile and engage with parents and caregivers to cater to their needs and preferences.
• Accommodate special dietary needs and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Keep our workspace sparkling clean and organized whilst following strict food safety and hygiene standards.
• Explore new recipes and food trends to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Work with other staff to ensure a seamless experience for children and families.

You will posses;

• Food Handling Certificate
• A current Working with Children check
• Understanding of diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities
• Australian Working Rights
• Excellent personal presentation
• Experience in menu creation, meal preparation, online ordering, stock management and budget control
• Experience in commercial cooking
