Our client is seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join their team in Port Macquarie!
This is Permanent Part-Time Weekends role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold Workplace Health and Safety policies and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and safe food handling procedures to guarantee resident safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required.
What we're looking for:
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery or a similar qualification (preferred).
- Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably aged care, hospital, or similar food service setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
- The ability to follow instructions and work independently as needed.
- A solid understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
- Availability to work weekends as part of the permanent part-time schedule.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
