Job Overview: We are currently seeking talented and enthusiastic casual Chefs and Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidates will have a strong passion for food, a creative flair, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with our menu and standards.
- Assist in the development of new menu items.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in an appealing and appetising manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Handle and manage kitchen equipment and tools effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar environment.
- Passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications (preferred but not essential).
