About the role
- Ensure kitchen equipment and all stock items are in place to deliver the best possible service on a daily basis.
- Ensure the kitchen, kitchen equipment and staff food handling methods meet food preparation and health standards.
- Ensure Service Managers are advised on menu pricing to ensure that point of sale pricing is correct on a daily basis.
- Stock and rotate food
- Handle equipment, appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools
- Perform opening procedures
- Organize and prepare for your shift
- Perform operating procedures
- Prepare and cook food items
- Perform ongoing duties
- Process and manage food tickets
- C III in commercial cookery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commands respect in the kitchen
- Team player and supportive of a culture of team work
- High food standards in taste and presentation
