We have an exciting opportunity for passionate Chefs, Cooks or Apprentices to work in our busy function and restaurant kitchens.
About the opportunity:
SkyHigh operations training will be given but an excellent customer service and ability to move fast is expected.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing high quality food
- Follow all Health and Safety requirements of the kitchen
- Cleaning, basic stock ordering and stock rotation
- Ensuring busy services are conducted with cleanliness, speed and efficiency
- Delivering outstanding dining experiences through consistent and prompt service
- Taking charge of daily specials and using your creativity to produce exciting plates
- Minimising wastage and ensuring cost control for maximum business profitability
You will also:
- Have an impeccable work ethic and a positive attitude
- Be able to work autonomously
- Work closely with the front of house team
- Have a good knowledge of industry trends
- Be exceptionally well organised and have acute attention to detail
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player
- Be a creative thinker, quick learner and problem solver
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
We prefer you live within 40 minutes drive of Mount Dandenong and have your own transport so you are able to maintain a good work / life balance.
