Helismart has exciting growth opportunities and we are expanding the business. We have recently restructured and are looking for someone to step into the Chief Engineer position with the unique opportunity to be mentored by the existing Chief and LAME (who are both staying on).
We have a fun dynamic team consisting of 2x LAME, AME & 4 apprentices and we specialise in Robinson & light turbine maintenance. Requirements: Experience on the Robinson Product Valid Certificate 4 in Aeroskills (mechanical). CASA part 66 licence
- B1.4, B1.3 (Experience on B206/MD500N Desired) Be conversant with appropriate CASA regulations to comply with company maintenance approval
- Desirable Rolls Royce 250 series engine rating
- Desirable Familiarity with Aerotrack Skills, Traits, Competencies: General Management experience 3
- 5 years Financial management literacy Licenced Helicopter Engineer with 7
- 10 years experience.
Proficient in Microsoft, Xero and Aerotrack software applications. Strong communication skills Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: CASA and OH&S compliance Training, staff development and mentoring Client & Supplier relationships Business development (sales & business growth) Organisational structure & accountability Leading team by driving the business purpose and core values Training, staff development and mentoring Product/Service development Innovation & technology research & implementation This is a full-time permanent position and we are wanting the successful applicant to start early 2024.
