AddressWe are seeking a Chief Engineer to join and assist in expanding our maintenance organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operation, conducting maintenance on company and customer aircraft to ensure safe and efficient operations, consulting with key stakeholders on business development opportunities and ensuring ongoing compliance with all applicable regulations.

Position: Chief Engineer - B1 & B2 licence highly desirable

Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance tasks on aircraft, including inspections and repairs of airframes, engines, landing gear, and avionics systems
- Identifying and diagnosing any issues with aircraft systems and components, and making necessary repairs or replacements
- Performing scheduled maintenance tasks as per manufacturer's specifications and regulatory requirements
- Completing maintenance records and documentation to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborating with other maintenance and management team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Consulting with management on potential business development opportunities
- Ensuring the business compliance with applicable legislation
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent - CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license highly desirable
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and repair work
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Work independently and as part of a team.
