Reporting to the skills-based Board, this important role will be responsible for delivering reform while ensuring the continuation of the organisation’s service provision through innovative and best practice initiatives. Key areas of responsibility will include:
- proactively guiding the strategic and operational direction of the organisation;
- leading, managing and developing staff to deliver contemporary, high quality person-centred care and services;
- identifying and implementing growth and performance improvement opportunities;
- managing the financial, physical resources and assets of the organisation to ensure viability and ongoing success;
- maintaining and enhancing relationships with diverse stakeholders including government entities, peak bodies, service partners and community groups.

The successful candidate will demonstrate business acumen, initiative, judgement, commitment to continuous improvement principles and highly developed interpersonal skills. Capacity to engage, lead and role model the working behaviours appropriate to the continued reputation and success of the organisation will be essential.
A competitive senior executive remuneration package including fully maintained vehicle will be offered to secure a strong appointment. With the head office in Nuriootpa and a second office in Clare, flexible work arrangements can be negotiated.
