Executive Assistant To The Chief Information Officer

The Department for Child Protection is seeking an Executive Assistant TO THE Chief Information Officer to join on a full-time term basis.

The role is responsible for:

• Providing a comprehensive personal and confidential secretarial, administrative and project support service TO THE CIO and the ICT and Information Management Directorate.
• Conducting, completing and supporting a range of projects and research as required.
• Liaising with all levels of the public and private sector, Senior Departmental Officers and Ministerial Officers on behalf of the CIO.
• Managing the Office’s human resource management requirements, including monitoring contracts, leave arrangements, screening processes and participating in staff selection processes.

We are looking for a vibrant communicator who thrives on providing excellent customer service at all levels to internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have great organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of work in a rapidly changing environment. 

You will also have a proven ability to provide confidential executive support to a senior executive and dealing with highly sensitive and/or political issues with tact and diplomacy, whilst maintaining complete confidentiality.
