Position Overview
We are seeking an experience strategic, and process-minded individual to join us as our Head of Finance, reporting to the CEO. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop an internal team to support finance, business planning and budgeting, and logistics. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Head of Finance will work closely with a motivated and engaged executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the complete accounting function
- Timely preparation of financial statements on a monthly basis
- Presentation of financial reports and analysis to the Board/Executive Committee
- Consolidation of accounts as and when required
- Preparation and presentation of cashflow and profit forecasts when required
- Inventory management
- Liaison with the company’s international offices particularly in relation to finance matters and management
- Contributing to the company’s strategic planning process working closely with the CEO and the Board
Qualifications And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with CA or CPA qualifications
- Minimum 10 years professional experience preferably including 5 years of broad financial and operational experience
- Strong people management skills with the ability to mentor and develop a direct team managing work allocation, training, problem resolution and performance evaluation
- Confidence with specialised software platforms with advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software, preferably with exposure to Microsoft Dynamics finance platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to prioritise, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Preferable exposure to international accounting and transfer pricing requirements
- Preferable exposure to project profitability reporting & internal control systems
