BNK Bank Corporation Ltd is an ASX-listed company, so a key part of your role will be to establish trust with the organisation’s shareholders and your Executive peers. Pivoting between strategy and execution, you will ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day technical operations to cement a steady state and drive change through an ambitious but achievable program of work designed to support the organisations' growth plans and strategic goals.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Lead the development and implement BNK’s technology strategy and framework, ensuring its alignment with BNK’s goals and strategic intent.
Manage strategic relationships with vendors to build consistent, responsive and trusted collaborations in creating value for the Bank.
Implement technology standards which ensure legislative requirements are met
Direct the conceptualization, planning, development and testing of new IT solutions and architecture in order to ensure capturing of business requirements and facilitate effective implementation
Design and implement access controls on the hardware and systems within IT and in the systems provided to the users to ensure data integrity and prevent fraud/misuse of the systems.
Set and measure business objectives, and targets and support IT strategy executions and provide timely performance reporting based on department KPIs balance scorecards and department roadmaps.
Manage the IT budget and IT project costs within budget.
Lead business continuity and project management functions
Build data sets, governance frameworks and application integrations to improve the quality, quantity, and availability of BNK data.
Work with key areas of the business to utilise data, analytics and models to optimise business processes. Analysing the current and future data of the organisation and providing recommendations for business improvement.
Ensure the delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual reports for:
o Regulators
o Internal Management
o Risk Metrics
o Product Metrics
o Portfolio Management
Provide leadership, mentoring and support to the Technology and Data teams

What you will bring to the role:
Prior experience in a CIO or CTO role for a highly regulated industry e.g. banking, finance, insurance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, energy, defence, and telecommunications.
Your experience leading high-performing technology teams
Your experience ensures technology partners deliver core services cost competitively.
Your understanding of industry regulations (e.g. RBA, APRA)
Your ability to contribute to strategic planning and drive operational excellence through technology

Your proven success in delivering digital transformations:
o data democratisation
o implementing cloud-based environments.
o upgrading core systems
o driving technology implementations
o security and governance
o consolidate systems and infrastructure (post-merger)
