Directly supporting the LMANZ Chief Executive and Vice President Operations, the Chief of Staff will assist in achieving LM’s growth and delivery objectives. Working closely with the VP’s and LM Executives, this role is responsible for coordination of day to day activities and regular business rhythms of the LMANZ business. You will add value through understanding business development principles and strategies and how they relate to the continued growth and business of LMANZ, as well as the coordination of office and programmatic area activities and functions on behalf of the Chief Executive and VP Operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordination of senior executive international visits including logistics, objectives, program information and communication activities
- Full spectrum external event management – managing and directing every aspect of key GBD&S events
- Preparation of materials and coordinating the execution of the business rhythms and recurring reports
- Annual Market Plans and preparation of briefings required by the VP
- Preparation of high quality written products for both internal and external audiences at the most senior levels
- Contribute extensively to the creation of an effective workplace culture
- Assisting in preparations for internal and external customer meetings, as required by the VP
- Coordination or tracking of data requests of the LM Australia and New Zealand offices by LM executive staff and others
- Provision of support to key LM projects; including activities related to strategy development, mergers and Acquisitions, community events
- Researching, prioritising and following up on issues and concerns addressed to the VP
- Finance Management – Oversight of GBD&S-UK budgets and monthly reporting to Chief Executive on financial metrics. Control Account Manager
About you:
As an experienced and communicative leader, you will easily build rapport and strong relationships with both internal and external Stakeholders, while your ability to think strategically and ensure deadlines and project timelines are met are second to none. With proven experience in a similar role, you will have the confidence and nous to hold yourself accountable and enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment. Ideally you will hold a Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Operations Maintenance, etc.) from a recognised institution, and/or extensive relevant experience.
To be successful in this role you will also have:
- Extensive professional experience and business success in a similar role
- Relevant Management/Leadership training and/or qualifications
- Ability to concisely articulate talking points (presentation and written)
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Demonstrated high initiative with broad experience and interest in the global security business
- Credibility with high levels of professional discretion and ability to maintain confidence
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, with excellent attention to detail
- Superior organisational and time management skills
- Highly proficient using Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work autonomously in an Executive environment
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be Australian Citizens and required to hold & and maintain CoA NV-1 security clearance.
Location of this role is Canberra, ACT.
