A new opportunity awaits...Scout Talent invites a strategic, technically adept Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology trajectory. This Brisbane-based, contract role demands a presence in our office 1-2 days a week, allowing you to influence and innovate within a flexible framework.
Your key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing and executing a technology vision that propels Scout Talent and NetEngine forward, aligning with our business strategy
- Leading the technology team, nurturing our mission of innovation and excellence
- Directing the development, operations, and evolution of our software products, ensuring they exceed industry standards.
- Ensuring the robustness, efficiency, and security of our technology infrastructure
- Navigating the landscape of technology trends, integrating them into our strategic planning and execution to foster continual advancement
- Planning our personnel resourcing, ensuring coverage of all projects with the right people and skills to drive our product roadmap forward
With a profound technical foundation and strategic acumen, you stand out as a leader capable of steering innovation and development. Your exceptional leadership skills, coupled with a tenacious drive for innovation, position you as an ideal candidate.
Your background in overseeing technology development, infrastructure initiatives, and innovation projects equips you with the insight to lead our technology direction. Experience with security and compliance, especially in an increasingly scrutinous client environment, underscores your candidacy.
Additionally, you are:
- Located in Brisbane, ready to engage with our team in-office 1-2 days per week
- Experienced in technical leadership, with a knack for managing cross-functional product teams and keeping projects aligned with strategic roadmaps
- Adept in creating and enforcing best practices in coding, code quality, peer reviews, and maintaining a customer-centric approach
- Comfortable with the prospect of AI technologies, though not a requirement, it’s a conversation starter
- Versed in HR or recruitment, a bonus that would greatly complement your role
- Data-driven, ensuring decisions are backed by solid analysis and insights
