Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. Integrated and Community Health Child and Family Health services address the health and developmental needs of children in a community context. Nursing and Allied Health services are provided in a client and Family centred integrated care model.
Speech pathologists are responsible for provision of assessment and management of communication and feeding difficulties for children using a primary health care approach. They provide a professional level of service with a commitment to multidisciplinary and evidence-based approaches to managing clients and promoting health.
