We are looking for a dynamic Early Childhood Professional to join our team. We have a 12 month contract position available for a Child Development Coordinator / Community Engagement Officer for 21 hours per week - Tuesday to Thursday.
You will be required to support and monitor existing Coffs Family Day Care educators ensuring quality care provision for parents and children, working with a team for the benefit of the Service and adhering to the Education and Care Services National Regulations. You will also work towards establishing an Family Day Care presence and recruiting Educators in remote areas in line with current funding arrangements.
The position is funded for one year but may be ongoing based on future funding opportunities.
Requirements & Conditions are as follows:
- Early Childhood Education and Care Qualification
- Sound knowledge of Early Childhood Development and Education 0-12 years
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards, the Educator and Care Services National Regulation
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a team or autonomously
- Assessment, report writing and evaluation skills
- Well-developed time management and organisation skills
- Current first aid certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Hold a NSW drivers licence
- Understanding of EEO and Privacy Laws
- Awareness of child protection law and current child protection training
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
