Perfect for a graduate to put into practice education and enhance skills with data technologies, statistical, mathematics, data analysis and AI.As a Junior Data Analyst Specialist, you will play a critical role in cataloguing and reviewing Power BI data products, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with the business to optimize reporting processes. This position offers excellent learning opportunities in both Power BI and data engineering, providing a solid foundation for professional growth.The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for problem-solving, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for learning and collaborating in a dynamic team environment, along with a fun, engaging personality, and the confidence to actively contribute and communicate ideas.The Junior Data Analytics Specialist role is responsible for:Contribute to the development and enhancement of business intelligence, Data Analytics, and reporting services.Catalog, document, evaluate, and decommission existing Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring an organized and streamlined reporting environment.Support translating business acumen into technical Data Analytics products, including visualizations that convey a compelling narrative.Conduct analysis, summarize key findings and trends, and contribute to value-add data analysis and reporting.Collaborate closely with wider Data Governance & Analytics team to refine and optimise of data assets, ensuring the seamless flow, integrity, and efficiency of data processes.Additionally, you must demonstrate:Basic understanding of Data Analytics concepts;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to understand business process;Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a dynamic and collaborative team environment;Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;Experience extracting, cleansing and analysing data using reporting and BI tools;Knowledge of Relational Database management concepts and data modelling.Whilst not essential, knowledge and experience of the health industry and/or previous experience with patient administration and/or clinical information systems, will be highly regarded.Please refer to the position description for more information.If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your applications via ‘Apply’ link.About St Vincent’sSt Vincent's Health Australia is the largest diversified health care organisation within Australia's not for profit Catholic health care sector.
