- Flexible start date, ideally April/May 2024 - when are you available?
- Promoting and maintaining the health of children, providing support and education to families, and advocating for the wellbeing of young individuals.
- Tracking physical, emotional, and cognitive development milestones to ensure children are growing and progressing as expected
- Performing routine health screenings and assessing children for any health concerns or developmental delays
- Administering immunisations to children
- The provision of guidance and education to parents and caregivers on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, safety, and child development
- Working closely with children and families who have chronic health conditions, provide education, support, and help manage the condition to promote optimal health and well-being
- Current AHPRA registration
- Qualified Nurse Immuniser
- At least (2) years of experience in Child Health Nursing
- Current WWCC & National Crime Check
- Valid NSW Driver's License
- Demonstrated ability to provide nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents across various health conditions and developmental stages.
- Effective communication with children and adolescents, as well as their parents or guardians.
