About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Child Protection Clinician within the Women and Children's Division, Child Protection Service (CPS).
As a Child Protection Clinician, you will provide a range of comprehensive specialist forensic and clinical/psychosocial assessment and therapy services for children and families referred to Child Protection Services.
In this role you will provide a tertiary clinical assessment service to infants, children, adolescents and their family where child abuse and neglect is identified by the Department for Child Protection and/or South Australian Police.
Child Protection Clinicians apply clinical experience, clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive and integrated services to the needs of clients of CPS NALHN.
To be eligible for this role as a Social Worker, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
To be eligible for this role as a Psychologist, you must hold an appropriate degree (Master of Clinical, Forensic or Health Psychology) or equivalent qualification as recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia. You must hold general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
