The Role: As a Childcare Area Manager, you will oversee the operations of two of our outstanding childcare centres located just 5 minutes apart in the Penrith Area. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality care and education are maintained while fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the operations of two centres in accordance with company policies, procedures, and targets.
- Fostering a cohesive and positive work environment for all team members.
- Implementing initiatives aimed at increasing occupancy rates.
- Maintaining health and safety standards in alignment with company protocols at all times.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for our Directors to ensure the smooth and effective operation of both childcare centres.
- Support and mentor centre directors and staff to uphold best practices in early childhood education and care.
- Foster strong relationships with families, stakeholders, and the local community.
- Implement policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of programs and services offered.
The Role:
As the Childcare Area Manager, your responsibilities include:

- Providing leadership, support, and guidance to staff and students as required.
- Ensuring that the center complies with all company policies, state legislation, and national quality standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education or Hold a Diploma in Children Services.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the childcare sector.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.
- A current Working with Children’s Check and valid First Aid Certificate, Child Protection training.
- Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process.
