Childcare Director/Nominated Supervisor

Little Wonderland Childcare is a Family owned business, with a homely feel, we have an exciting opportunity for an amazing Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor  to join our friendly Team.    We are seeking a dedicated experienced Leader  with a passion for providing high quality care.  Our Centre has a close knit team.

Little Wonderland is a family owned and well established service that provides a loving and caring environment for both our children and their families.  We are  a 5 room Centre with ages 6 weeks to school age.  The Centre has very recently been renovated. We offer 95% staff discount  on gap fees.  We also offer incentive bonuses.

We are aiming to find a highly motivated, caring and passionate Director to Lead our Team who shares our vision of learning and who is ready to motivate our team. 

We pride ourselves on our friendly community approach with our families.  Our Director will manage the Centres day-to-day operations and work with our Educators and families to provide high quality care.    We are a place where families and children feel welcomed and valued.  

Requirements.

To be successful in this position, it is expected that you have:

• Minimum ACECQA-approved Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent.
• Have experience in leadership and management role
• Current Blue Card.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the NQF and NQS.
• Thorough  understanding  Early Years Learning Framework 
• Effective skills in conflict resolution, team building and implementation performance review processes.
• Working knowledge of Qikkids
• Working knowledge of Storypark 
• Food safety supervisor certificate or willing to obtain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to build constructive working relationships with families and staff.
