What’s the role?
The Educational Leader has an influential role in promoting positive outcomes for children and families. Effective Educational Leadership builds the capacity of educators by inspiring, motivating, affirming, challenging, and extending their practice and pedagogy. This joint endeavour involves inquiry and reflection and supports ongoing learning and professional development.

Who are you?
Key skills and requirements:
ACECQA Approved Diploma in Children’s Services or bachelor’s degree (Early Education) or, working towards
Current Working with Children CheckEssential Skills
A comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework 2.0 and the National Quality Standard to ensure best practices.
Ability to guide, mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a culture of professional reflection and continuous improvement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with educators, families and external agencies.
Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality educational programs.
Demonstrated capacity to reflect on practices, seek feedback and engage in ongoing professional learning.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the broader community.Desirable Skills
Proven track record as an effective leader or mentor in an early childhood settings
Ensuring all children have equitable access to learning opportunities, catering to diverse needs.
Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.
Participation in ongoing training and professional development to remain updated with sector changes.
Capability to use relevant software and technology for documentation, communication and planning.
Experience in A&R, inclusion support, behavior management or SRF/ISS is highly desirable
