About the role
The Children and Young People First Project is a VicHealth-funded initiative which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of Children and Young People (ages 0 - 25) in the Central Goldfields Shire. Its' focus areas include healthy eating, physical activity, and social connection.
This position will work collaboratively with the Children and Young People First Project Officer and play an essential role in the delivery of all components of the project. Achieving the project aims requires partnering with stakeholders, other services and agencies, and direct engagement with Children and Young People in the community.
We are seeking a skilled community engagement or public health promotion practitioner with project management skills to join our team.
You will have experience with engaging with a range of people and stakeholders (experience working with children, families, and/or Young People preferred), and a proven understanding of strengths-based community capacity building principles.

- Some flexibility in availability may be required.
