We have a fantastic opportunity for a Children's Services Administration Officer to join our dedicated team at the Sherbrooke Family and Children's Centre.As a key member of our team, your role will be diverse and vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the Sherbrooke Family and Children's Centre. You will actively contribute to promoting SFCC and provide exemplary customer service while managing various administrative tasks.Key Responsibilities:Actively promote SFCC through participation in activities and development of promotional materials.Liaise with services and community agencies to enhance collaboration and community engagement.Take a key role in implementing community programs at SFCC, such as Children's Week and Centre Open Days, providing support for Childcare Centre Tours and Family Orientation as required.Manage maintenance requests for SFCC licensed spaces and public areas by overseeing bookings and hiring of facilities within SFCC, ensuring efficient coordination.Provide exemplary customer service through the reception and various touchpoints.Manage day-to-day administrative demands, including internal and external correspondence, filing, and meeting deadlines.Support administrative functions related to Commonwealth and State funding for long day care and kindergarten programs.What you'll bring to our team Previous experience in early childhood services and operations.Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service.Strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills.Proficient in data entry and payment processing.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with external partners.Knowledge of relevant childcare regulations and funding processes is advantageous.Why you'll love working with us Sherbrooke Family and Children's Centre, located in Upwey, Victoria, is an innovative and contemporary early childhood education and kindergarten facility.
