This large 110 place , well established centre in Elsternwick is seeking an experienced
Diploma trained Director to join the centre. This centre provides great staff: child ratios, excellent
funding and resources, and enticing staff benefits. You will be supported by an off the floor ACM and educational leader
The position would be Directing a 110 place long day care centre, open 7:00am - 6:30pm, and
catering for children aged 0 - 5. Your role would include overseeing all aspects of the centre - daily
routines, staffing, ratios, policies, regulations; rostering; staff management; parent relationships;
reporting to the area manager; implement policies and procedures; attend
staff meetings where required; ensure the centre is providing the highest quality care.

The ideal candidate will:
Hold their completed Early Childhood Teaching degree or Diploma of Childrens
servicers
Hold a current First Aid Certificate
Be experienced managing a team of up to 20 staff
Ideally be experienced as a centre manager
Be confident with leading and mentoring staff
Be experienced handling parent enquiries and conducting tours/orientations
Be experienced writing and implementing policies and procedures
Have a solid understanding of the EYLF
Have a solid understanding of new VICTORIAN regulations/legislation
Be looking to commit to a role long term
