Seaton Community Children’s Centre is a non-profit community-based service that is managed by a committee of parents who are passionate about making their service a warm, inviting, high-quality experience for you and your child. We are licensed for 52 children per day aged from 6 weeks to school age.
Seaton Community Children’s Centre is located on Glenburnie Street next to Seaton High School. There is a large, exciting outdoor area with lots of shade and room to learn and develop skills, the children and educators spend time outside everyday.
The children are supported to advocate for their needs, and develop a sense of agency - choice is real, and authentic. Each child is viewed as an individual who brings their own culture and identity to the service.
Children are supported to develop a strong sense of belonging through reciprocal and respectful relationships with their primary care giver.
We encourage diversity in our service and welcome the opportunity to learn about new cultures, and this opportunity has presented itself due to an increase in demand by families for places in the service.
