Golding is currently seeking experienced site-based, CHPOperator/Maintainers to work as part of the project team based at Baralaba mine, located 150km west of Rockhampton. Golding will offer suitable candidates permanent full-time employment.
A Local Housing Allowance applies to Locals and camp accommodation and meals will be provided for non-locals.
Experience required:
- Previous experience carrying out repairs and maintenance in a fixed plant mining/crushing environment
- Troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment and mechanical faults within a fixed plant environment
- Disassembly and assembly of machinery and components
- Routine servicing and inspections on fixed plant
- Experience in operating: Komatsu WA500, Komatsu WA900 or Cat 992 Loader
- Experience in operating a Coal Handling Plant (CHP)
Role Requirements
- Trade qualification (Australian recognised)
- Working at heights certification
- Confined space certification
- RII competency training records
- Ability to pass Coal Board Medical, Functional Capacity Assessment and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Current driver's licence
- Current standard 11
- Demonstrated ability in applying the site safety systems requirements
- Demonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviour
