AAMG have been engaged by our client to find them a CHPP ShutdownPlanner/Scheduler to support their internal planning team in coordinating a number of shutdowns at various assets in the next 12 months.
About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Asset Health, this role is responsible for developing, optimising, and scheduling of maintenance activities to minimise downtime, waste, cost, and maximise resource utilisation while ensuring safety is the primary focus. Implements optimised shutdown processes by setting performance benchmarks, budgets, milestones and risk mitigation planning measures to reduce down-time and increase productivity for the asset.
You will engage with multiple stakeholders across the Operations or Functions to ensure the integration of Maintenance and Production activities. You will work closely with Maintenance Planners to identify and mitigate risks and ensure an integrated maintenance schedule is delivered. Additionally, during execution frequent travel will be required to provide reporting and insight to the execution team regarding progress and strategy.
About you
We are seeking applicants with an understanding of Planning and Scheduling processes. You will have prior exposure to logistics and coordination, as well as a knowledge of production processes. It is essential that you are a team player who promotes and supports workplace diversity. You will be a strong facilitator with good communication skills and the ability to drive performance in a team. The following qualifications and skillsets are desirable for success in the role:
- A demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders to reach an outcome.
- Understanding of scheduling principles - Note that that may be from a non-maintenance field, for example Project Management, Production Scheduling, etc.
- Experience with MS Project or similar.
- Experience with SAP or similar maintenance planning software.
- Experience with Fixed Plant (CHPP) or materials handling / processing.
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in relevant maintenance field(s) or engineering discipline(s).
- Experience in Asset Management, maintenance execution, maintenance planning & reliability or production processes, with strong technical aptitude and maintenance process expertise.
