A talented and experienced Planning Consultant is required to join their dynamic team due to growth and opportunities in the region.
What you'll do:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant Planner/Senior Planner based in Brisbane City, QLD. The Consultant Planner/Senior Planner will be responsible for providing expert construction planning, programming and time-related advice to clients in the property and construction sectors. This includes informing programming decisions, offering solutions for projects experiencing delays, and providing expert opinion on extension of time claims. The role will involve working closely with clients and utilizing current local data to deliver effective planning solutions.
Why you'll be a great fit:
- At least 3 years’ experience in first principles construction planning of built structure (building) projects for an Australian based construction contractor
- Strong knowledge of construction management, construction law, and planning
- Experience in construction planning and programming and time-related advice for property and construction projects
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Degree in construction management, planning, engineering, or related field
- Relevant certifications or professional memberships (e.g., Certified Planner, Project Management Professional) are a plus
