 The Zinfra Projects and Infrastructure business is the trusted partner to deliver construction projects in Transmission Lines, Substations (Green and Brown field), Renewable energy storage and Green Gas infrastructure.  

About the role  

The CIC Team Lead oversees and provides leadership within the CIC group to ensure efficient delivery of services to commercial, industrial, and domestic customers.  

This role involves directing and managing the team to execute all projects and offers punctually, maintaining profitability and work quality in alignment with contractual obligations and key performance indicators.  

In this role you will also:  

  • Support team performance reviews, career development, training, and succession planning. 
  • Lead project delivery efforts, including financial oversight and reporting aligned with organizational goals.  
  • Identify and analyse opportunities for improving business systems, processes, and workflows, assessing implications of system changes. 
  • Assist the Customer Program Manager in forecasting and monitoring project budgets  
  • Ensure delivery of services meets customer expectations  
  • Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders to enhance contract management and achieve optimal business outcomes. 
  • Represent Zinfra professionally in client meetings and serve as a primary interface between clients and operations. 

About you  

Ideally, you will be proficient in prioritisation and scheduling skills to optimize resource allocation. You should also possess advanced verbal, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities, maintaining a professional demeanour. Moreover, you will demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and quality improvement principles, while embracing accountability as a capable decision-maker. 

You will also bring: 

  • A team player mindset with the initiative to work independently. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Effective at cultivating professional relationships. 
  • A well-presented demeanour with a proactive, flexible approach to ensure delivery and quality. 
  • Desirable minimum of 10 years' experience in capital works delivery. 
  • Essential technical qualifications in the electricity industry.
