We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as Library Delivery Service Officer. LET’S EXPLORE THE JOB The Library Service Delivery Officer reports to the Arts, Culture and Tourism Cultural Outreach and Volunteer Lead and coordinates the delivery of library materials to home service clients (including nursing homes), handles customer inquiries and organises volunteer activities, also supporting them in providing technological assistance to clients wishing to access online Library Services and digital resources. Additionally, performs home deliveries as needed. In this role, you will utilise the latest library technology (Spydus 10 technology and the Home Services Module) to select resources tailored to each client’s needs, including adaptive technologies for those with special requirements. You will guide clients in making the best use of our collections, services, and facilities. You will provide essential advice and assistance, ensuring that every client can access the information and resources they need. A significant part of your role will involve engaging with and managing volunteers and partnerships. You will be responsible for training, and ongoing support, ensuring that they are well-equipped to assist with library deliveries and online tech training for clients. By fostering a positive and supportive environment, you will help volunteers and partners feel valued and motivated, thereby enhancing the overall Service Delivery. May operate across departmental Service Delivery, Monday through to Sunday; 8.00am to 9.00pm Located across the ACT facilities with regular visits to external sites If located at the Speers Point ACT facility, the incumbent may be required to assist with front of house Service Delivery using Spydus 10 technology LET’S HEAR ABOUT YOU With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you will always be looking for ways to enhance our services.
