What does a Graduate Civil Engineer in Energy and Resources do?
Working alongside a team of engineers, designers and project managers to deliver quality engineering and technical activities to achieve successful projects
Develop experience and competency in Earthworks, Road and Stormwater design
Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants, and contractors to facilitate effective project coordination.
Complete design calculations and records within time and budget restraints
Gain experience in site inspections and construction contracts
Utilise industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and 12D to create and modify engineering plans in a digital format
Contribute to the preparation of reports and other essential engineering documentation.
Participate in site visits to observe and monitor construction activities, providing valuable insights for ongoing design projects.
What does a Graduate Structural Engineer in Energy and Resources do?
Carrying out site investigations, and feasibility studies for proposed projects
Developing computational models to analyse and assess structural behaviour of new and existing structures
The design of structures across numerous material types such as Concrete, Steel and Timber
The production of calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solutions
Contribution to structural design requirements from Concept through to Construction phases of project delivery
Support specific projects by assisting with document co-ordination and report writing
Contribute to a multidisciplinary design approach, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Including: Other Engineers, Clients, Architects and Contractors

Qualifications
About you:
Civil Engineering degree or Structural Engineering degree – if you are studying a Civil engineering degree with a major in Structural engineering please indicate this.
Passion for learning and problem-solving
Eligible to work in Australia
Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years of experience
