About the role
This is a full time term opportunity located at Stanwell Power Station.
The Civil Engineer will provide civil and structural support to the Stanwell Power Station. This role is responsible for providing effective asset management of Stanwell’s plant through planning, development and implementation of appropriate engineering asset strategies, policies, systems and procedures to ensure the integrity and performance of the site’s civil assets.
Key activities include:
- Complete engineering projects and modifications in accordance with the relevant standards and statutory requirements.
- Continually evaluate the condition of civil plant and advise maintenance and modification strategies for improving integrity and cost reduction in accordance with business objectives
- Implement the long term plant maintenance strategy to optimise life cycle costs.
- Complete asset inspections to determine condition and complete condition reports
- Utilise Engineering Project Procedures to execute projects (OPEX & CAPEX).
About you
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Knowledge and application of risk management practices and processes as applied to power generating (or large civil) assets and project management
- RPEQ status in Civil and Structural or working towards registration
- Eligible to apply for membership with the Institution of Engineers Australia
- Current manual drivers license (C Class).
