The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Civil Engineer will work with the team and be responsible for the design and delivery of future energy solutions in compliance with procedures, standards and guidelines of Downer on our brand-new site in Wollongong.
About You
- Trade or Tertiary qualification in Engineering/Construction or similar is desirable
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the industry, particularly within power and /or heavy industry
- Exposure and experience with project planning, execution and delivery
- Knowledge of and competence in OHS legislation, principles and practices
- Sound negotiation skills in dealing with customers and employees, with ability to influence.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Formal qualification in project management or equivalent experience is desirable.
