Continued growth within our Adelaide office has resulted in a requirement for a Civil Engineer experienced in the design and delivery of projects in the Water and Wastewater industry.
It is expected that our ideal candidate will possess:
• Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications in Civil and / or Environmental Engineering with 4+ year experience.
• Proven track-record in proposal writing, client management, project management, and project delivery.
• Willingness to learn and take on projects that are outside the candidate’s core capabilities.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
Skills that will be considered favourably include one or multiple of the following:
• Experience in Civil Engineering design with a particular focus on stormwater modelling (DRAINS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW), WSUD (MUSIC modelling), hydraulic design software (WaterGEMS and WaterCAD), preparation of engineering reports.
• Experience in wastewater collection systems and small-scale wastewater treatment (CWMS).
• Qualified chartered engineer (CPEng or equivalent) or working towards completion.
• Familiarity with GIS software including ARCGIS and/or QGIS.
• Experience working on DIT projects including familiarity with drainage requirements and Independent Design Certifier (IDC) reviews.
• Experience in construction management and superintendency roles on Water and Wastewater projects.
