Civil Engineers

Seeking a standout Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil, you will be responsible for various activities including material procurement, managing documentation, interpreting design drawings, and ensuring construction is carried out as per design.

Key Responsibilities:
- Procure materials, review schedules, and check materials on site
- Manage HSEQ and other site documentation and client requirements
- Read and interpret design drawings and specifications
- Maintain records and photos of the progression of works
- Assist in the development of site-based construction documents
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety checks
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, supervisors, and tradespeople
- Review design drawings and collaborate with external designers to meet requirements
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop a thorough understanding of project documentation and relevant standards
- Ensure compliance with site safety and induction requirements
- Support the supervisor in various tasks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and DIT Standards
- Previous experience in concrete structures and formwork is preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 1-2 years of experience Civil Engineering and hold a recognized Civil Engineering Degree by EngineersAustralia. While previous experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 Contractor is preferred, it is not essential.

Proficiency in relevant computer software packages such as Microsoft Suite is a must. Any additional experience with other software programs related to the field would be highly advantageous.
