The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic experienced Civil Leading hand to join our Network Services team based in Brooklyn 3012.

Your role as a Leading Hand

You will be responsible for overseeing on site activities, coordinating the day-to-day operation and ensuring  projects are delivered to high standards of safety and quality.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Working closely with the Supervisor to provide effective leadership to the crew.
• Aiding in the completion of projects within allocated time and budget.
• Assisting with planning of plant, equipment and resources to undertake projects.
• Identifying optimisation and continual improvement opportunities maximising efficiency and productivity. 
• Training and developing team members 
• Driving safety standards and ensuring a safety first culture.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

• Experience supervising staff 
• Water / wastewater experience
