Civil project engineer required by client side project management firm

Personally, having dealt with this firm for over 10 years, I know how good they are. Imagine working on Civil projects but only 5 days a week, with 1 or 2 days from home and no early morning site visits or late finishes. Welcome to the world of client side project management.

A medium-sized national firm, 30 staff in Melbourne, with an exceptional brand, name and reputation in Victoria. With a history of delivering some of Victoria's most iconic, residential, commercial towers, hotels and now civil-based projects.

Your new role

Engaged by a range of different clients, your role will be to oversee these projects from a design and contractor management perspective, ensuring the project is handed over in a costly and timely fashion. The key is your stakeholder engagement skills, getting everyone on board to deliver in the best possible way for your client.

What you'll need to succeed

Personality and communication are everything. Building relationships and rapport with all stakeholders is fundamental to this role.

You will be civil engineering degree qualified
4 - 8 years experience working for a Victorian (ideally) Tier 1 contractor
Experience in design management, coordination, subcontractor management
Full working rights for Australia
